Racing forward in the same spot
That's one of those insanely intuitive comments an Evolutionary biologist once came up with to describe the course of human evolution. Its pretty much us in a nutshell. We are constantly growing, changing, evolving, and yet at the same time, painstakingly the same. Even though our circumstances change, and we are forced to grow, we can never seem to do so at a rate that would happily coincide with the change in our surroundings.
I feel like I'm moving a hundred miles a minute, and the stops come every five weeks after a round of exams. It's tough. It's heart-wrenching. It's exhausting. It's what I've wanted to do my entire life. So I should probably just suck it up, and do it right the first time. Easier said than done.
On a nerdier note, my tankmates and I were able to uncover all of our facial nerves and inferior alveolar blood vessels! WOOHOO!.
Ok. back to the grind. I will be in touch.
